Due diligence methodology
Evidence that survives a hostile reading
A verification report is only useful if it holds up when someone with an opposing interest examines it. Our methodology is designed for that test.

Position
We do not sell reassurance. We establish what can be corroborated, state plainly what cannot, and grade our confidence in each finding so you can weigh it properly.
- 11 days
- Median turnaround, standard counterparty review

- Independent sources required per material finding
- Field
- Physical confirmation included where jurisdiction allows
- Graded
- Every finding carries a confidence level
Mandate definition
We begin by fixing the decision at stake, the entities and individuals in scope, the jurisdictions involved and the standard of evidence required. A screening ahead of a first meeting and a review ahead of an acquisition are different instruments.
Scope, timeline and reporting format are agreed in writing before collection begins.
Multi-source collection
Company registries, regulatory filings, court and litigation records, tax and licensing status, sanctions and PEP lists, local and international media, and industry sources are gathered in parallel.
Where registry data is incomplete or out of date — common across the region — we rely on vetted local networks rather than treating absence as evidence.
Corroboration
No material claim enters the report on a single source. Ownership, control, operating history and financial standing must each be confirmed independently.
Where corroboration fails, we report the gap explicitly. An honest unknown is more valuable than a confident guess.
Field confirmation
Where the mandate warrants it, we confirm physically: registered premises, operational activity, staffing, equipment and the existence of the individuals presented as principals.
One afternoon on site frequently resolves what months of correspondence cannot.
Judgement and reporting
Findings are delivered as an executive report: a clear recommendation, findings graded by severity and confidence, supporting evidence, and the specific questions we would put to the counterparty next.
We do not deliver raw data dumps. Interpretation is part of the mandate.

Commission a verification mandate.
Tell us the decision in front of you. We will tell you, plainly, whether we are the right team for it.
